2011 Singapore Weiqi League

Dear members and fellow Weiqi Lovers

The Singapore Weiqi League is finally back! This year it will begin from the 3rd July 2010 (Sunday) from City Clubhouse onwards

 

Time: 10:00am ~ 6:30pm

Format: Team Event

Venue for the first game: City Clubhouse                                   

Prizes:

Winner                          S$600 and Trophy 

1st runner-up:                 S$400 and Trophy

2nd runner-up:                S$200 and Trophy

3rd runner-up:                 S$200 and Trophy

Special Award:               S$200 (To award to the best team that has Singapore Citizen or PR playing not less than half of the overall matches)

Best performance players:          S$200 (total)

Registration: $100 per team

Closing Date: 26 June 2011

 

Rule:

 

  • A team consists of one team captain and at most 5 players. No player can represent more than one team.
  • Any registered organization in Singapore can send at most 2 teams.
  • Three games will be played in each round of the league. 
  • The participating teams are invited to host a one-day tournament of the league. The organizer shall provide S$4 refreshment allowance for each player. 
  • The competition shall use round-robin tournament rule. 
  • SWA reserves the right to amend the rules without notice when necessary.
