*Promotion and demotion of players*
- Promotion and demotion occurs at the end of each League cycle
- The top 2 players of Groups B, C and D will be promoted to the next higher group. E.g. the top 2 players of Group C will be promoted to Group B.
- The last 2 players of Groups A, B and C will be demoted to the next lower group. E.g. the last 2 players of Group A will be demoted to Group B
- The last 2 male players of Group D will be out of the National Youth Team
- In Groups C and D, female players will play against male players, but their results will be separated. Hence a female player will be demoted if she is last among females of that group, even though she may not be the last in the group. However, to be promoted from Group C to Group B, she must be among the top 2 players of that group. From Group D to C, she must be the top 1 player among the female. Only 1 female will be promoted and 1 female be demoted.
