1. You will be shared about the history and culture of the game of Weiqi.
   • Evolution of the game since its creation
   • Ancient and modern concepts
   • Education and life values within the game itself
2. You will be taught the basic rules of Weiqi.
   • Liberties
   • Capturing
   • Escaping
   • Forbidden Point
3. You will know how to score at the end of the game.
   • Understanding concept of territory and winning the game
   • Counting methods
4. Practical game time with explanation in the lessons.
5. Course materials will be provided.
6. Upon completion of this course, student will receive the SWA Kyu Booklet with a certified 20-kyu rank and may proceed to enroll into Elementary Weiqi 1 course.
7. Course will be taught by experienced and certified SWA Dan-level teachers.
