Advanced Weiqi Class
For students aged 5 and above developing strategic thinking, tactical skills and competitive Weiqi techniques. Choose from three weekly options.

The instructor varies by option. Each class has eight lessons.
What students will practise
The course covers opening strategies (Fuseki), tactical techniques (Tesuji), life and death, capturing races (Semeai), shape analysis and endgame techniques (Yose) through structured lessons and practical training. Successful completion and an assessment may allow progression to the next-level Term Classes.
Before you register
A minimum of 4 students is required for a class to commence. Each class is capped at 16 students, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Practice between lessons
Students receive six months of complimentary Jia Yi online Weiqi access for practice and assignments, as described in the registration form.

Select A1T1, A2T1 or A3T1 on the registration form. Confirm A2T1’s end time first.
