Fundamental Weiqi Class
A structured first step into Weiqi for students aged 5 and above. Compare five weekly class times and choose the one that works for your family.

Each option has eight one-hour lessons. The instructor depends on your chosen class.
A foundation for the next move
This eight-week course offers a structured introduction to Weiqi. After completing the course and an assessment, students may progress to the next Term Classes under the guidance of experienced trainers.
Before you register
A minimum of 4 students is required for a class to commence. Each class is capped at 16 students, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Required Weiqi Beginners Kit · S$100
Every student must purchase the kit. It includes a 13×13 Weiqi board and stones, a bilingual Weiqi for Beginners textbook, two sets of Singapore Weiqi Association uniforms, and an SWA foldable bag. The S$100 kit is additional to the S$300 course fee.
Practice between lessons
Students receive six months of complimentary Jia Yi online Weiqi access for practice and assignments, as described in the registration form.
