Intermediate Weiqi Class
For students aged 5 and above building on elementary-level skills. Choose the weekly time that fits your family.
Weekly class options

All three options are taught by James Lee Xinqiang, 6 Dan. Each option has eight lessons.
What students will practise
Building on elementary-level Weiqi, students work on capturing techniques, Ko strategies, tactical reading and decisions about when to cut or avoid cutting. Successful completion and an assessment may allow progression to the next Term Classes.
Before you register
A minimum of 4 students is required for a class to commence. Each class is capped at 16 students, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Practice between lessons
Students receive six months of complimentary Jia Yi online Weiqi access for practice and assignments, as described in the registration form.
