National Preparatory Class
For students aged 5 and above with prior Weiqi experience. Compare the weekly class options and choose your preferred time.

Find your training time.
Choose a Friday, Saturday or Sunday class. Instructors differ by class; each option runs for eight lessons.
What students will practise
The class uses intensive training, competitive game practice and game analysis to develop reading accuracy, positional judgement and strategic decision-making. It also covers tournament preparation, time management and adaptability in complex positions. The course also prepares students for national-level Weiqi competitions and training.
Before you register
A minimum of 4 students is required for a class to commence. Each class is capped at 16 students, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Practice between lessons
Students receive six months of complimentary Jia Yi online Weiqi access for practice and assignments, as described in the registration form.
