The Elementary Weiqi Programme builds on the fundamental concepts of Weiqi and develops participants’ ability to read positions, identify threats, and make effective decisions during a game.
You will learn the conditions of life and death, develop techniques for managing danger stones, and explore ladder capture strategies through guided examples and practical exercises — strengthening your tactical awareness, improving your reading skills, and building a solid foundation for more advanced Weiqi play.
Taught by experienced trainer House Chuah, 5 Dan, the class is open to participants who are ready to build on their Weiqi fundamentals.
